Page 1 of 2 The Ecumenical Center for Research, Education and Advocacy (ECREA) is a Christian based organization dedicated to nurturing a compassionate, just and inclusive society. There are three programme areas each with a specific focus. ECREA is looking for a dynamic, mature and responsible individual to join our team as a Programme Assistant. Economic Social Justice Programme (ESJP) ECREA’s Economic Justice Programme addresses the issues of poverty and economic injustice in Fiji by increasing public awareness of the social consequences of our country’s economic practices and by advocating for just and accountable policies that improve the quality of life for all. Duties and responsibilities for Programme Assistant positions include - a. Ensure the Programme maintains ECREA’s financial procedures including - • Preparing of Programme payment request in a timely manner; • Ensuring proper acquitting of each payment request with relevant source documents • Updating financial data into the financial tracking system on a daily basis b. Perform banking, mailing and other clerical duties as required by the Programme c. Ensure that the Programmes office stationary are readily available in collaboration with the Finance Team d. Assist the Programme Co-ordinator in arranging necessary logistics for activities Qualifications and skills: The applicants should have at least 3 years office administration experience with a diploma in management and accounting. The successful applicants should demonstrate attention to detail, ability to work with minimal supervision and be prepared to undergo further training to enhance skills. Experience and interest in the programme area is preferable. Remuneration shall commensurate with level of qualification and experience.
