“It is with hopeful sadness that ECREA says farewell to Ms. Chantelle Khan the outgoing ECREA Director. Ms. Khan has been with the organization for 8 years, two of which has been in the position of the organizations Director”, said Bishop Apimeleki Qiliho, Chairperson of ECREA’s Executive Forum. Bishop Qiliho added that “We are blessed to have finally recruited an ideal candidate for the position in the person of Joseph Camillo. Mr. Camillo comes with a strong background in Human Rights having worked for six years at the Fiji Human Rights Commission. We are fortunate to be brining Joseph on board at such a crucial time in ECREA’s evolution as well as that of the nation”. “I am very elated and honored to be appointed into an organization of ECREA’s caliber and being a person that thrives on challenging circumstances, I am convinced that ECREA will engage with the Government of the day and network with other like minded people and organization to bring joy to the lives of the those living with poverty and who need economic justice in their lives,” said ECREA’s incoming Director Joseph Camillo. While Mr. Camillo settles into his new role with ECREA, Ms. Khan will be taking up her new role in a newly established organization that was founded by ECREA.
